What is this course?

At KeyWest Consulting, We offer a wide range of Lean and Scrum Agile training, including accredited courses in Scrum (Certified ScrumMaster and Scrum Product Owner), Lean Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile Project Management (AgilePM).

All courses are delivered by expert Agile training consultants with extensive hands-on practical experience. Having spent many years helping others introduce, develop and embed Agile practices and process improvements within their organisations, the trainers have substantial knowledge about what works in the real world and how to overcome specific challenge. They are able to share their insights throughout the training and illustrate training principles with their own client experiences.

There are no prerequisites for attendance on the course

Course Goals

  • Explain how to lay the foundations for successful agile projects
  • Explain how an agile project is managed
  • Clarify the different management styles needed for successful agile projects (compared to “traditional” projects)
  • Prepare for the Agile PM examinations.

Format

This course is in two parts: Foundation and Practitioner. Foundation lasts three days. Practitioner is a one day workshop including a two hour, scenario based session.

    • Prerequisites for the Practitioner examination are either:
    • Agile Project Management Foundation Certificate,
    • DSDM Atern Foundation Certificate, or
    • DSDM Advanced Practitioner Certificate
